Position Summary:
The Server Repair Division is seeking a skilled Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various computer components to ensure optimal functionality. With a focus on attention to detail and technical expertise, the Technician will contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Server Repair Technician, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and optimizing the server infrastructure.
Your responsibilities will include:
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware and software issues on Linux servers.
  • Perform repairs and replacements of faulty server components, including CPUs, memory modules, hard drives, and network cards.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams to resolve complex server issues and implement effective solutions.
Conducting routine maintenance to ensure peak server performance. Document all symptoms, test results, and parts replaced in shop floor tool. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to address server-related challenges. Implementing best practices for server security and reliability.
Requirements and qualifications:
Proven experience in server repair and maintenance. At least one year of experience in Linux systems administration. At least six months in a repair environment. Must be able to lift 50+ lbs
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting hardware and software issues on Linux servers.
In-depth knowledge of server hardware, software, and troubleshooting techniques. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
