Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Service Technician to join our team and drive excellence in equipment maintenance and repair within industrial environments. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Your expertise will ensure optimal equipment performance, safety, and reliability across manufacturing facilities. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics and troubleshooting on industrial machinery using electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems schematics. Conduct equipment repairs including welding (stick welding), electrical system repairs, hydraulic repairs, and pneumatic system troubleshooting to restore optimal operation. Utilize precision measuring instruments such as voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters, and schematics to accurately assess system performance. Operate and maintain industrial equipment including scissor lifts and other machinery safely following all safety protocols. Read electrical blueprints and schematics to identify issues and implement effective solutions in complex systems. Use Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to document work orders, track maintenance history, and schedule preventive maintenance activities. Collaborate with engineering teams on troubleshooting electrical diagnostics and programming logic controllers (PLCs) to enhance system functionality. Provide excellent customer service by communicating technical findings clearly to clients or team members and ensuring timely resolution of issues. Requirements Proven experience working in manufacturing facilities or industrial maintenance environments with a strong understanding of mechanical systems. Hands-on experience with electrical diagnostics, electrical troubleshooting, and electrical maintenance using tools like voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters, and multimeters. Knowledge of HVAC/R systems is highly desirable along with experience operating scissor lifts safely. Skilled in welding techniques including stick welding; ability to read schematics and electrical blueprints accurately. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), hydraulics, pneumatics, and troubleshooting pneumatic systems. Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and engineering troubleshooting guides effectively. Strong analysis skills for diagnosing complex equipment issues quickly and efficiently. Industrial electrician experience or industrial mechanic background is preferred; certification in electrical or mechanical trades is a plus. Proficiency in using CMMS software for maintenance tracking; excellent organizational skills are essential. Effective communication skills in English; ability to explain technical concepts clearly to team members or clients.
