Game Console Repair Technician

• PlayStation & Xbox We are looking for an experienced Game Console Repair Technician to join our team in the Katy. The primary focus of this position will be HDMI port replacement and repair on newer PlayStation and Xbox consoles. We are looking for someone who already has hands-on experience with these repairs and can perform them safely and reliably. Responsibilities
• Replace damaged HDMI ports on newer PlayStation and Xbox consoles
• Diagnose HDMI/no-display problems
• Perform microsoldering and board-level repairs
• Inspect boards for damaged pads, traces, and related components
• Test consoles before and after repairs
• Maintain a clean and organized repair area
• Properly document completed repairs Requirements
• Previous experience replacing HDMI ports on newer PlayStation and Xbox consoles
• Experience using hot-air rework and soldering equipment
• Comfortable working under a microscope
• Understanding of proper PCB handling and soldering techniques
• Ability to diagnose problems rather than simply replace parts
• Dependable and detail-oriented
• Able to complete repairs independently Experience with additional console repairs such as USB ports, power issues, overheating, liquid damage, or other board-level repairs is a plus. Compensation $20
• 25 per hour, depending on experience and demonstrated skill.

Important This position requires previous HDMI replacement experience on newer PlayStation and Xbox consoles. Applicants may be asked to demonstrate their soldering and HDMI replacement skills as part of the hiring process.
