Available Help for . Position Summary We are seeking a dependable, skilled, and customer-focused Service Technician to join our mobile/manufactured home company. The Service Technician is responsible for responding to service requests, diagnosing and repairing issues in manufactured homes, completing warranty and maintenance work, and ensuring homes meet company quality standards. The ideal candidate is a hands-on problem solver who takes pride in quality workmanship, communicates professionally with residents and customers, and can work independently in the field. Key Responsibilities

Respond to service calls and work orders in a timely and professional manner.

Inspect manufactured homes to identify maintenance, repair, and warranty issues.

Perform repairs involving plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, flooring, doors, windows, cabinets, drywall, and general home maintenance.

Troubleshoot problems and determine the appropriate repair or replacement.

Complete warranty and customer service requests according to company standards.

Perform preventative maintenance and general home inspections.

Document completed work, materials used, photos, and any additional repairs needed.

Communicate with homeowners, residents, property managers, vendors, and office staff regarding service issues.

Maintain a clean and safe work area before, during, and after completing repairs.

Properly operate and maintain company tools, equipment, and vehicles.

Follow all company safety policies, building codes, and applicable regulations.

Identify additional issues that may require attention and report them to the Service Manager.

Complete assigned work orders accurately and within established timelines.

Provide excellent customer service and represent the company in a professional manner.

Qualifications

Previous experience in residential construction, manufactured/mobile home repair, maintenance, or a related trade preferred.

General knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, and residential maintenance.

Ability to diagnose problems and perform repairs using hand and power tools.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

Ability to read and understand work orders, instructions, and basic technical information.

Good communication and customer service skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple service requests.

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Ability to lift, carry, bend, kneel, climb, and work in various weather conditions.

Must be dependable, punctual, and willing to travel between job sites.

Preferred Skills

Manufactured/mobile home service experience.

Construction or trade-school experience.

Plumbing, electrical, HVAC, or carpentry experience.

Experience with warranty service and work-order management.

EPA, HVAC, plumbing, or electrical certifications are a plus.

Physical Requirements This position requires frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing, reaching, and lifting. The technician may be required to lift and carry tools and materials weighing up to 50 pounds and work in confined spaces or outdoor conditions.
