We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Water and Sewer Technician to assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of water and sewer infrastructure, helping ensure the reliable delivery of essential utility services to the community. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively as part of a team. Key Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain water mains, sewer lines, manholes, valves, and fire hydrants Locate and mark water and sewer lines for excavation and repair activities Respond to service calls, water main breaks, sewer blockages, and other utility-related issues Perform routine maintenance on water meters and wastewater systems Inspect water and sewer lines for leaks, clogs, damage, or other issues Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) Read and interpret blueprints, maps, and utility drawings Document work performed, materials used, and maintenance activities Assist with excavation, digging, and other general utility maintenance duties as needed Maintain a clean and safe work area Requirements High school diploma or GED required Previous experience in utilities, plumbing, construction, or a related field preferred Basic knowledge of water and sewer systems Valid driver's license required Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and perform physically demanding tasks, including digging and working in confined spaces Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions Strong communication and teamwork skills Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic Ability to follow instructions, safety procedures, and established work practices Apply Today!
