Service Technician Job Description We are seeking a skilled refrigeration technician to work on large cooling units, including walk-in coolers and freezers. This role involves troubleshooting and maintaining refrigeration systems to ensure optimal performance. Responsibilities Perform maintenance and repairs on refrigeration units, including walk-in coolers and freezers. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cooling systems efficiently. Read and hook up gauges to assess system performance. Work with HVAC and Carrier refrigeration systems. Handle capacitors and other essential components within refrigeration units. Essential Skills Minimum of 2 years of experience working with refrigeration systems, particularly walk-in coolers or freezers. Proficiency in working with HVAC systems. Experience with Carrier refrigeration systems. Strong troubleshooting skills in refrigeration technology. Additional Skills & Qualifications Familiarity with cold storage refrigeration units. Ability to read and connect gauges for system analysis. Knowledge of capacitors and their functions within cooling systems. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Antonio, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $35.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
