Job Description

Looking to work outside in a team environment? Then consider an exciting career working for our Public Works Department, Water Division! We are searching for a professional ready to serve our world-class community. We are currently recruiting for the following: Water Technician I ($21.22/ hr) No experience is required, but you must have the ability to obtain a Class B CDL within one year of employment. Water Technician II ($22.28/ hr) Must currently possess a Class B CDL in the state of Texas. Water Technician III ($24.56/ hr) Must currently possess a Class B CDL in the state of Texas with Tanker Endorsement within 12 months of employment.

Must currently possess a TCEQ (Texas Commission on Environmental Quality) Class C Water Distribution and/or Class II Wastewater Collections license.
What You Will Be Doing:
Our professionals are the most important resource in our service commitment to our customers. We nurture a progressive environment where challenging, empowered, and purposeful work is celebrated. The Public Works Technician within our Water Division performs proper maintenance of the water distribution and wastewater collection systems. This is accomplished by maintaining City-owned fire hydrants, valves, manholes, water meters, and City mains. Additional duties include safe operation of various small equipment and/or vehicles in order to complete other projects as assigned. The Benefits of Working in
