A Service Technician I at Billingsley Collection plays a vital role in maintaining the safety, appearance, and functionality of our properties. This position calls for a versatile, hands-on individual capable of performing a wide range of maintenance tasks and helping ensure the overall well-being of the community. Job Responsibilities Work safely and use proper PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) Maintain property curb appeal Assist with and perform all aspects of property maintenance, including grounds, housekeeping, preventative, corrective, deferred, and emergency maintenance Perform interior common area and exterior maintenance Access flats or low-slope roofs, attics, and crawl spaces, and use ladders as needed Manage recycling and trash, including trash enclosures and compactor rooms Assist with weather-related cleanup, including snow and ice management Clean amenities and common areas Uphold the appearance of grounds and common areas Perform make-ready services, including cleaning and painting (full and touch-up painting of interior walls, exterior walls, doors, and more) Perform light audits and light bulb replacement Maintain and inspect the shop, storerooms, equipment, and golf carts Attend associate meetings, safety meetings, and required training Assist at other communities as requested Clean, vacuum, and balance pools Perform other duties as assigned Job Qualifications EPA certification Willingness to learn and grow through guidance from your Supervisor and trainings offered through Billingsley Understanding of the fundamentals of mechanical systems Ability to organize, prioritize, and plan your day Comfort with common computer skills and smartphone use (Yardi Mobile app) Ability to use hand tools common to construction, maintenance, and landscaping, including all associated chemicals Ability to properly use hand and power tools, including but not limited to a circular saw, power drill, bench grinder, hedge trimmer, key machine, paint sprayer, and power floor cleaner Ability to operate motorized vehicles and golf carts Availability for on-call shifts, overtime, and weekend hours Willingness to wear a company-provided uniform during working hours Physical Requirements Prolonged periods of sitting, standing, and walking Ability to climb ladders, step stools, and similar equipment Ability to enter confined spaces Ability to lift up to 50 pounds at a time
