Public Works Technician I Brian Head Town -
Brian Head, UT Pay:
$20 - $23 per hour DOE ( higher and negotiable for Class A CDL and certified operators )

Full-time • Year-round • On-site About Brian Head Town Work where others vacation! Brian Head Town is a high-elevation resort community (10,000 ft) in southern Utah's red-rock mountains, known for world-class skiing, hiking, biking, and small-town pride. What You'll Do Operate heavy equipment — dump trucks, graders, loaders, snowplows. Maintain and repair streets, curbs, and drainage systems. Assist with water line and meter installation, repair, and maintenance. Maintain sewer collection systems and repair line breaks or blockages. Help maintain Town facilities, vehicles, trails, and parks. Follow Town safety procedures and participate in on-call rotation. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Able to lift 50-75 lbs and handle heavy physical labor. Willing to work on-call and 24-hour standby as needed. Licensing (can obtain after hire): Commercial Class A CDL within 6 months. Utah Level 1 Water Distribution & Level 1 Wastewater Collection Certifications within 1 year. Flagger Certification within 6 months.
Preferred / Advanced
Candidates Hold a Class A CDL and/or Utah Drinking Water and Wastewater Certifications (Level II or higher) . Pay is higher and negotiable DOE for qualified operators. The Ideal Candidate Hands-on, dependable, and outdoors-minded. You take pride in keeping infrastructure safe and reliable, enjoy working with a small team, and don't mind a little snow (or a lot).
