Gearbox Service Technician Pay:

$26+/hour, based on experience

Schedule:

Monday Friday, 7: 00 AM 3: 30 PM We are looking for a hands-on Gearbox Service Technician to refurbish, inspect, and service industrial gearboxes. This position involves both shop and field service work.

Responsibilities:

Refurbish and service gearboxes according to technical drawings and specifications. Assist with gearbox disassembly and inspections. Identify damage and determine components that need to be replaced. Take measurements and gather information for service reports. Perform field service and on-site work as needed. Communicate professionally with customers. Assist with shipping and receiving. Assist with shop maintenance, cleaning, and painting of gear units and components. Maintain tools, equipment, and shop supplies. Follow all safety and quality procedures. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Mechanical background required. High school diploma/GED and/or 5 years of relevant work experience. Knowledge of machining and mechanical equipment. Ability to read assembly and machining drawings/prints. Ability to use or learn precision measuring tools. Strong troubleshooting skills. Organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Professional communication skills.
