Service Technician | Zaxis Inc. Position Summary Zaxis Inc. is seeking a dependable, technically minded Service Technician to calibrate, upgrade, and repair test equipment while providing direct technical support to customers via phone and email.

Paid Time Off (PTO) and education reimbursement. Key Responsibilities Calibrate, test, maintain, upgrade, and repair test equipment and leak testers. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and firmware issues. Provide front-line technical support to customers via phone and email, guiding them through troubleshooting and basic solutions. Accurately document all repairs, calibrations, parts usage, and customer interactions in the ERP system. Work toward and achieve designated weekly and monthly KPIs and performance goals. Perform quality-control testing to verify complete issue resolution prior to release. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace while managing tools and calibration standards. Requirements & Qualifications Strong mechanical and technical aptitude; comfortable working with hand tools and electronic test equipment. Proven troubleshooting, diagnostic, and analytical problem-solving skills. Professional written and verbal communication skills for phone and email customer interactions. Experience navigating ERP systems or digital work-order platforms. Ability to work effectively within KPI-driven workflows. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality control. Ability to learn new equipment, calibration procedures, and technical processes quickly. High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Age 18+ and legally authorized to work in the U.S. Previous experience in calibration, electronics, or equipment repair is preferred but not required.
