Love fixing things and helping people? This job is both. We're a small, tight-knit team at uBreakiFix Gainesville fixing phones, tablets, computers, and game consoles. Roughly half your day is on the counter (it varies by store and how busy we are): greeting customers, figuring out what's wrong, explaining options in plain English, and recommending what actually helps them, including protection plans and accessories. The other half is hands-on repair work. No repair experience? That's fine — we train you. You'll start on the counter and simple repairs. As you prove yourself with customers, you'll unlock advanced bench training and pay increases. Great people here grow into senior tech and store lead roles across our 4 locations. Pay & Benefits $16-18/hr base, based on experience Performance bonuses on repairs, protection plans, and accessories. Most full-time team members add $200-400/month, putting total pay near $20/hr 401(k) with employer match Paid hands-on repair training Flexible scheduling; full-time and part-time available (great for students) Employee discount You'll fit here if you: Genuinely enjoy talking with customers, including the stressed-out ones Get curious when something's broken and want to know why Like being on a small team where everyone pitches in and owns their mistakes Want to be coached and keep learning Like earning more when you perform This job is NOT for you if you: Want to sit at a bench and avoid customers Are uncomfortable recommending products or services Prefer working alone Can't work weekends Background that fits well: carrier or cell phone store sales, electronics retail, IT or electronics students, or anyone who's always fixing friends' devices.
