Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Data Center Server Repair Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining server hardware and electronic equipment within data center environments. Your expertise will ensure optimal performance, reliability, and uptime of critical data center infrastructure. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics on server hardware and electronic systems using various diagnostic tools and testing equipment such as oscilloscopes, voltmeters, and ohmmeters. Troubleshoot electrical issues within AC/DC electrical systems, interpreting electrical schematics and blueprints to identify faults accurately. Conduct electrical repairs on servers, power supplies, fans, circuit boards, and other electronic components utilizing hand tools and soldering techniques. Utilize engineering troubleshooting methods to resolve complex electronic system problems efficiently. Test and calibrate electronic equipment to ensure proper functioning according to technical specifications. Maintain detailed documentation of repair procedures, diagnostics results, and maintenance activities for compliance and knowledge sharing. Collaborate with field service teams to perform on-site repairs and preventative maintenance in a fast-paced data center environment while ensuring excellent customer service. Skills Proficiency in using diagnostic tools such as oscilloscopes, voltmeters, ohmmeters, and other electronic testing devices. Strong electrical diagnostics skills with the ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints, and schematics for troubleshooting purposes. Hands-on experience with electrical equipment repair including soldering and component replacement. Knowledge of AC/DC electrical systems commonly found in server hardware and data center infrastructure. Experience in field service operations performing maintenance or repairs at client sites or data centers. Familiarity with computer hardware components, networking basics, and electronic systems troubleshooting. Ability to interpret electrical blueprints and schematics accurately for effective repairs. Excellent customer service skills combined with technical expertise to communicate clearly with clients or team members about repair status or technical issues.
