Job Description

Position Summary:
Are you passionate about diagnosing and repairing Emergency Vehicle truck systems and working with other talented mechanics? We are looking for experienced Emergency Vehicle Technicians.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Diagnoses and repairs various truck systems using electronic diagnostic tools and laptop computers. Be proficient with any hand tools needed to diagnose trucks. Ensures repairs are completed in accordance with the supervisor's instructions and are done in an accurate manner. Maintains correct time clock punches and work order processes. Maintains efficiency standards and attendance policy as required. Stay up to date on all assigned OEM training. Tag parts as required and follow all warranty procedures set by each OEM. Complete repairs by OEM SRT standards. CDL certified drivers test drive trucks to diagnose malfunctions and to ensure they are still in proper working order. Inspect, test, and listen to defective equipment to diagnose malfunctions. Keep work area clean and free of debris. Keep customer vehicles clean during the repair process and after the completion of repairs. Perform road calls as needed. Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required One-year certificate from a fully accredited college or technical school or an equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable. Minimum of one year of related experience and/or training. Basic understanding of Windows and Microsoft Office, experience with CDK a plus.

Emergency Vehicle Experience preferred A professional set of tools is required. Be able to perform physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, squatting, standing and lifting heavy objects up to 70 lbs. CDL preferred. PIf4c78e5-
