Job Description

Artisan Plumbing and Mechanical is seeking an experienced Sewer & Drain Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience diagnosing, servicing, and repairing residential and commercial sewer and drain systems while providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
Operate sewer cable machines to clear drain and sewer line blockages safely and effectively. Operate high-pressure hydro jetting equipment to clean and restore drain and sewer lines. Diagnose sewer and drain problems using industry-standard equipment and recommend appropriate repair solutions. Perform preventative maintenance on drain and sewer systems. Assist with sewer line repairs, replacements, and excavations as needed. Conduct camera inspections of sewer lines and accurately document findings. Maintain all tools, equipment, cable machines, and jetting equipment in safe working condition. Follow all OSHA safety standards and company safety procedures. Complete service reports, estimates, and job documentation accurately and professionally. Communicate clearly with customers regarding findings, recommended repairs, and preventative maintenance. Work independently as well as with plumbing crews on larger residential and commercial projects. Participate in an on-call rotation and occasional overtime as required.
Qualifications:
Experience operating sewer cable machines and hydro jetting equipment. Knowledge of residential and commercial sewer and drain systems. Experience with sewer camera inspections is preferred. Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose drain and sewer issues efficiently. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to lift 75+ pounds and perform physically demanding work in confined spaces, trenches, crawl spaces, and various weather conditions. Strong work ethic, reliability, and professional appearance. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Preferred Experience:
Plumbing or sewer service experience. Experience with drain cleaning, hydro jetting, camera inspections, pipe locating, and sewer repairs. Ability to operate excavating equipment is a plus but not required. Pay:
$35.00 - $45.00 per hour
