In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining small engines and related equipment. Additionally, you will assist in setting up new equipment to be sold, ensuring that all products meet quality standards and are ready for customer use. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing excellent service. Duties Diagnose and repair a variety of small engines, including lawnmowers, chainsaws, trimmers, and other outdoor power equipment. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure optimal engine performance. Set up new equipment for sale, including assembly, testing, and quality checks to ensure functionality and safety standards are met. Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency. Keep detailed records of repairs, parts used, and services performed. Communicate effectively with team members regarding repairs, maintenance needs, and equipment setup instructions. Stay current on industry best practices and new product updates to provide knowledgeable service. Qualifications Proven experience working with small engines or similar mechanical systems is preferred but not required. Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to diagnose issues accurately. Knowledge of engine components, repair techniques, and safety procedures. Ability to set up new equipment efficiently for sale purposes. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
