Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Small Engine Technician to join our team at location in Kimberly. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining small engines and related equipment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background and have experience working with various power tools and electrical systems. Your expertise will contribute to ensuring our customers receive high-quality service and reliable equipment. Responsibilities Diagnose issues with small engines, including generators, lawn mowers, snowblowers and other power equipment. Perform repairs and maintenance on small engines, ensuring they operate efficiently. Utilize schematics to troubleshoot electrical problems and implement effective solutions. Conduct routine inspections of equipment to identify potential issues before they escalate. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of service requests. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Keep accurate records of repairs, parts used, and services performed. Experience Proven experience as a Service Technician or in a similar role focusing on small engine repair. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to work on various types of engines, including those from Kawasaki, kohler, Briggs and Stratton, Stihl and other manufacturers. Proficiency in using tools Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and manuals. Previous experience working in a dealership environment is a plus.
