Job Description

Badger State Staffing is seeking dependable Production Floaters for full-time, direct-hire opportunities in the Fox Valley! In this dynamic role, you'll support the manufacturing and distribution of premium fine art materials. While your main day-to-day focus will be packaging, labeling, and palletizing finished goods, you'll also cross-train across key departments—stepping in to support fulfillment, product assembly, fine art production (paints and woodworking), and shipping/receiving as production needs shift.
Primary Duties:
Safely package finished art products into appropriate boxes or containers, ensure proper labeling, and bundle or stack items onto pallets according to shipping and staging standards. Perform pick-and-pack operations using pick lists to accurately pull orders for retail, trade, or direct customer distribution. Assemble art components, displays, kits, or wooden materials using hand tools and basic machinery. Assist in specialized manufacturing areas such as liquid paint processing, filling, or precision woodshop operations under guided supervision. Assist with loading/unloading trucks, staging outgoing freight, scanning inventory, and organizing stock areas. Inspect materials, packaging integrity, and labels to ensure every item meets high standards of product quality. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace in compliance with company standards and safety protocols.
Schedule:
Monday through Thursday from 6:30 AM to 5:30 PM. Occasional overtime may be required on a Friday.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, assembly, or distribution environment is a plus. Willingness and flexibility to learn multiple jobs and adapt to changing daily priorities. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions with strong attention to detail. Basic mechanical aptitude or comfort working with hand tools (for wood and assembly areas) is helpful. Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift up to 50 lbs. regularly throughout a shift. Ability to work in a light industrial manufacturing environment with exposure to wood dust, paints, and raw materials (appropriate PPE provided).
Pay:
From $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
