A Broadband Technician works both inside and outside of a residential or business customer's building to install, change, repair and disconnect broadband services including data, digital TV and voice services. Troubleshoots at time of installation and returns at scheduled time if technical issues arise. Educates customers about ordered services.

Job Description

If you're dependable, willing to learn, and enjoy working outdoors, we'll teach you the skills needed to build and maintain Alaska's communications infrastructure. At Tundra Telecommunications, you'll work alongside experienced technicians installing fiber optic networks, microwave systems, cellular equipment, towers, generators, and critical communications systems across some of Alaska's most unique locations. What You'll Do Assist experienced technicians on telecom construction projects. Pull cable and install conduit. Install and terminate fiber optic cable. Help build and maintain microwave and cellular sites. Assist with generator, battery, and solar installations. Operate hand and power tools. Load and unload materials. Travel throughout Alaska, including remote communities. Learn industry skills through hands-on training. We're Looking For People Who Have a strong work ethic. Show up on time. Want to build a long-term career. Enjoy working outside in all weather conditions. Can work as part of a team. Have mechanical aptitude. Can lift 75 lbs. Have a valid driver's license.
