Job Summary Are you highly motivated, reliable, and eager to learn a hands-on trade? InstaLAN Systems is a growing data communications company based in Fremont, CA, looking for an Installation Technician to join our team. No experience is necessary. We provide full on-the-job training for hard-working individuals. We reward initiative—as you master new skills and work independently, your compensation will grow with you.
Compensation & Location Starting Pay:
$21.00 per hour.

Location:
Fremont, CA (with dispatch to local job sites).
Job Type:
Full-time.
What You Will Learn & Do Cable Installation:
Reading Floor Plans, labeling cables, Pulling cable in ceiling from IT closet to user or device locations.
Support System:
Install J-hook supports, cable trays in cable pathways and dressing cables neatly.
Connections:
Terminate data cable to jacks and patch panels.
MDF/IDF room setup:
Building server racks, mounting equipment, and dressing cables cleanly.
System Testing:
Learn to test, troubleshoot, and certify completed cable networks.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements Physical Stamina:
Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. regularly.
Heights:
Comfortable working on ladders and scissor lifts.
Schedule:
Flexibility to work extended hours when projects require it.
Reliability:
Must be punctual, responsible, and ready to work in a team environment. Qualifications Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Must be authorized to work in the United States. Strong work ethic and a desire to learn a technical trade.
