A Telecommunications Field Technician telecommunications Field Service Technician installs, repairs and maintains voice, data and video systems for a company's customers at the customer site. Prepares and documents a customer's network prior to implementing telecommunication system. Installs IP, network equipment and facilities. Acts as the first point of issue resolution, responds to field engineering issues and troubleshooting telecommunication problems. May train less experienced field technicians.

Key qualifications include, 1+ yeas of technical experience training in electronics, mechanics, construction technology, surveying, GPS systems, or a related field. Experience with Leica, Trimble, Topcon, or other GPS/machine control construction systems is preferred.
