In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing DAS systems that enhance wireless coverage in various environments. Your expertise will ensure reliable connectivity for clients across commercial, residential, and public spaces. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology, troubleshoot complex systems, and deliver exceptional customer service on every project. Responsibilities Install, configure, and troubleshoot DAS systems, including antennas, cabling, and related equipment across diverse sites. Perform fiber splicing and network installation tasks to support high-capacity wireless infrastructure. Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on telecommunication equipment, including Cisco routers, Juniper devices, and VoIP systems. Read and interpret schematics, technical diagrams, and electrical blueprints to ensure precise system setup. Use hand tools and power tools safely to install cabling (Cat5, Cat6) and low voltage wiring in accordance with NEC standards. Test network connectivity using tools such as ohmmeters and Ethernet testers; diagnose issues related to LAN, Ethernet, or telephony systems. Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients during installations or troubleshooting visits; document all work performed accurately. Requirements Proven experience as a service technician in telecommunications or related fields with a focus on DAS systems preferred. Strong knowledge of computer networking concepts including LANs, Ethernet cabling (Cat5/Cat6), and network hardware such as Cisco routers and Juniper equipment. Hands-on experience with fiber splicing techniques and telecommunication cabling standards (NEC compliance). Familiarity with schematics, electrical diagrams, and system schematics for accurate installation and troubleshooting. Ability to operate power tools, hand tools, and electrical testing equipment safely and efficiently. Electrical experience with low voltage wiring, power supplies, and equipment repair in data centers or similar environments. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients. Valid technical certifications related to telecommunications or networking are a plus; relevant service technician experience is highly valued.
