In Office Pay:
$4,690•$7,306 per month The Department of State Hospitals•Napa is hiring a full-time Communications Operator to support Protective Services. This role is ideal for someone who can stay calm under pressure, communicate clearly, and respond quickly in fast-moving situations.
Responsibilities:
Handle incoming communications and determine the proper response Support emergency and routine radio communications Gather and relay important information accurately Prioritize urgent situations and multitask effectively Maintain professionalism in stressful environments
Qualifications:
Strong communication and listening skills Ability to stay composed during emergencies Good judgment and attention to detail Ability to follow instructions and act quickly Dispatch or radio communications experience preferred Perks may include: Free parking On-site childcare EV charging stations Exercise facility Access to trails and parks This is a permanent, full-time, in-office position located in Napa County.
