generally 0-3 hours travel to customer sites. Some overnights needed (hotel provided) depending on distance. Variable start times ranging from 5 am

• 8 am. This is hands-on work at customer sites ranging from retail, food, and commercial spaces. Occasional overnight stays depending on distance. Able to follow prescribed scope, install documents, and direction from offsite support teams.
• Pay•$35•45hr DOE (1099)•Travel time paid at $35/hr•Hotel provided on overnight/multi-day jobs•1099 on demand •Schedule•Ongoing, intermittent Monday-Friday schedule depending on the client•No weekend work Duties include, but not limited to:•Terminating RJ45, keystone, tracing existing circuits•Ability to run industry standard cable runs through drop ceilings to customer spec.
• Installing new circuits and networking equipment in a live customer environment
• Utilizing software provided by the customer to program new equipment
• Applying troubleshooting methodologies to diagnose faulty equipment
• Utilizing offsite managers via phone or text as a knowledge base. There are additional resources available via customer audio bridge.
• All consumable install materials are provided

• Reliable vehicle — as a 1099 contractor, mileage is yours to deduct at tax time
• Your own tools consisting of a typical network technicians tool kit
• Your own laptop
• Patient with sometimes redundant customer communication needs
• 3 verifiable professional references
• This a physically demanding position. Must be comfortable on ladders, able to safely lift 70 lbs above your head.
• Able to complete complex scopes to spec with no in-person supervision.
• High level of professionalism when working with customer and their employees.
• Ability to pass a drug screening (marijuana is fine) and a background check
