A Telecommunications Field Technician telecommunications Field Service Technician installs, repairs and maintains voice, data and video systems for a company's customers at the customer site. Prepares and documents a customer's network prior to implementing telecommunication system. Installs IP, network equipment and facilities. Acts as the first point of issue resolution, responds to field engineering issues and troubleshooting telecommunication problems. May train less experienced field technicians.

- 5 Years)#26-19581 Juno Beach, FL Onsite Job Description Must be able to install equipment in support of network and customer requirements, maintain site security and cleanliness, and oversee contractors for maintenance, repair, and restoration of components.
For technicians working on fibre optic transmission
- Responsible for maintaining and installing electronic equipment used for telecommunications, including fiber optic transmission equipment, lightwave multiplexing equipment, digital multiplexers, channel banks, circuit termination equipment, and DC power equipment.
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent. Ability to read service orders and basic circuit diagrams.Relevant Experience:
0- 5 years of field experience
Responsibilities:
- Assist with equipment installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance
- Learn and apply procedures related to process and operations
- Work under supervision on senior technicians
