Join a growing team supporting the construction of a new facility in Bridgeport, Alabama. We are seeking OSP Fiber Technicians with experience in outdoor telecommunications and fiber infrastructure projects. This role focuses on outside plant work and is ideal for technicians who enjoy working in the field, troubleshooting systems, and supporting large-scale network deployments. What You'll Do Fiber Infrastructure Installation & Maintenance Install and maintain OSP fiber systems Work with conduit, innerduct, handholes, vaults, and underground or aerial fiber routes Pull, route, and test fiber optic cabling Support fiber terminations, connectivity testing, and quality assurance efforts Coordinate with construction teams during installation activities Safety & Quality Follow all site safety requirements and PPE standards Perform quality inspections and ensure installations meet project specifications Identify and correct deficiencies to maintain high-quality workmanship Maintain awareness of ladder safety, elevated work areas, and confined spaces Required Skills OSP Fiber Installation Fiber Optics Cable Installation & Routing Telecommunications Infrastructure Fiber Testing & Troubleshooting Blueprint & Drawing Interpretation Cable Terminations Patch Panels & Punchdowns What We're Looking For Previous experience in OSP, telecommunications, or fiber optic construction Comfortable working outdoors and in varying weather conditions Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Comfortable working on ladders, lifts, and elevated cable pathways Experience working around construction sites or large-scale infrastructure projects Willingness to work occasional nights, weekends, or maintenance windows as needed Why Apply? Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
