Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Low Voltage Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting low voltage systems across various commercial settings. Responsibilities Install, configure, and troubleshoot low voltage systems including camera systems, access control, fiber optics, Ethernet networks, and data cabling such as Cat6 and Cat6a. Conduct fiber splicing and termination to ensure reliable high-speed data transmission. Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to accurately install and repair equipment. Use hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other specialized equipment to complete installations and repairs efficiently. Provide field service support by diagnosing issues on-site and delivering prompt solutions to minimize downtime. Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including system configurations, test results, and service reports. Qualifications Proven experience as a service technician in low voltage systems or related fields such as telecommunications or IT infrastructure. Strong knowledge of Camera systems, fiber splicing, network installation, Ethernet cabling (Cat6/Cat6a), IDF/MDF buildout, grounding and Testing. Familiarity with schematics, wiring diagrams, LAN (Local Area Network), telecommunication standards, and electrical codes. Hands-on experience with equipment repair using hand tools and power tools; ability to troubleshoot electrical issues effectively. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients. Ability to work in a team setting in the field while maintaining safety standards; valid driver's license is required.
