DOE Job Summary We are seeking a Telecommunications Field Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for installing, operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining VSAT, LTE, 2-way network communication systems, security equipment, and related technology . The ideal candidate is technically minded, customer-focused, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a field environment. You will work directly with customers to identify and resolve technical issues while helping improve system efficiency and reliability. Responsibilities Install, operate, troubleshoot, and maintain 2-way network communication systems and security equipment Install and maintain VSAT and LTE data communication systems Configure and adjust network systems to minimize communication disruptions Diagnose and resolve technical issues involving computers, printers, fax machines, communication equipment, and security systems Investigate customer concerns and develop appropriate technical solutions Provide professional, responsive, and positive customer service Assist with equipment tracking and inventory documentation Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and system performance Maintain accurate service and equipment records Maintain the cleanliness and proper condition of company-provided tools, equipment, and vehicles Follow all company safety procedures and operational guidelines Qualifications Previous experience in telecommunications, electrical engineering, networking, electronics, or a related technical field preferred Familiarity with telecommunications and network equipment Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills Excellent attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a team Strong customer service skills Ability to learn new technology and equipment quickly Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who enjoys hands-on technical work, troubleshooting, and working directly with customers .
