SUMMARY The System Technician - Senior position assists any RDC or Field location with resolving or escalating any issue concerning wagering availability including but not limited to: terminals, concentrators, TV displays and infields, administrative devices, power systems, configurations and daily processes. This position travels extensively, both domestically and internationally, to assist in openings, closings, and moves of RDC equipment from one track to another. Additionally, this position may also be required to travel or assist by phone in resolving an emergency situation under the guidance of the VP of Field Service. This role sometimes operates RDC for smaller venues and also may be required to perform Terminal Technician duties at big race day events, such as Triple Crown or Breeders Cup. This role is expected to take calls and respond even after normal working hours. When onsite at the Hunt Valley, MD location, this position is often called upon to assist other groups (CAC, OPS, Engineering, Product) in testing new software features and processes. Additionally, this role is responsible for assembling, configuring, and testing certain new or replacement hardware destined for the field.Background of Business:

Assists any RDC or Field location with resolving or escalating any issue concerning wagering availability.Travels when directed by the VP of Field Service to field locations for support Takes calls after normal business hours from field locations, domestic and internationalAssists in testing new software, hardware, procedures, and processesAssembles, configures, and tests certain new or replacement hardware being sent to the field.
Provides onsite Support in several different roles for big events.
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES - SUPERVISORY

Seven (7) or more years of experience as a Technician or Field OperatorDemonstrates basic understanding of computers and Microsoft operating systems.Strong computer skills including Microsoft office (Excel, Word, Outlook Express).Demonstrates ability to install both computer hardware and computer software.
Demonstrates ability to use specialized tools, such as punch downs, crimpers, voltmeters and oscilloscopes.
Demonstrates ability to use specialized software, such as serial emulators (Hyper terminal) and basic networking tools (ping test, Ipconfig, trace)Must have the means to travel on short notice, including renting a vehicleMust maintain a current and valid driver's license, credit card and passport Preferred Experience and/or
