A Telecommunications Field Technician telecommunications Field Service Technician installs, repairs and maintains voice, data and video systems for a company's customers at the customer site. Prepares and documents a customer's network prior to implementing telecommunication system. Installs IP, network equipment and facilities. Acts as the first point of issue resolution, responds to field engineering issues and troubleshooting telecommunication problems. May train less experienced field technicians.

Minimum Requirements:
- + BS Degree + 4 years of related experience OR AS Degree + 6 years of related experience OR High School + 8 years of related experience + SUE and/or private utility locating experience equivalent with a demonstrated commitment to quality and attention to detail.
ASCE 38-02 & 38-22.
+ Position requires frequent traveling to field locations. Locations and distances vary and will include overnight travel. + Frequent lifting of equipment up to 50 pounds unassisted. + Frequent outdoor work in a variety of seasonal weather conditions. + Daily walking several miles to perform job duties. Frequently across outdoor construction environments with a variety of uneven terrains such as mud, rock, grass, dirt and other unpaved terrains and variable outdoor conditions including heat, cold, dust, and noise. + Valid U.S. Driver's License required to regularly drive AECOM vehicles to project sites. As a condition of employment, selected candidate must pass a Motor Vehicle Records review. + As a condition of employment, candidate must pass client required background check(s).Preferred Qualifications:
- + Demonstrated proficiency with pipe and cable locators such as Radio Detection RD and Vivax Metrotech vLoc Pro to designate all utility types t include EMS Marker Ball detection.

- Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The range for this position is $75000 to $95000.
