We are hiring 10 technicians for immediate placement. This opportunity is ideal for experienced telecommunications professionals with strong hands-on expertise in HFC/coaxial networks, amplifier and node replacement, RF signal testing, balancing, splicing, and troubleshooting. Experience with FDX upgrades is highly valued. Candidates with excellent HFC technical skills and a strong understanding of amplifier/node operations are encouraged to apply. Relocation candidates are welcome. Responsibilities Perform installation, replacement, splicing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of HFC/coaxial network amplifiers and nodes. Support FDX upgrades, equipment replacements, and network modernization activities. Execute forward-path and return-path balancing, including RF level measurements, gain, pad, and EQ adjustments. Troubleshoot signal loss, poor output levels, cable attenuation, connectors, splices, power issues, and equipment configuration. Conduct pre-work and post-work testing, verify network performance against design specifications, and document completed work. Follow engineering prints, network documentation, safety procedures, and quality standards while working independently in the field. Essential Skills Strong hands-on experience with HFC/coaxial networks and RF signal testing. Proven experience replacing and/or splicing amplifiers and nodes. Ability to perform forward and return-path balancing and interpret signal levels. Strong troubleshooting skills involving amplifiers, nodes, cables, connectors, splices, power, and configuration. Ability to follow technical documentation, work independently, and maintain high standards of safety and quality. Qualifications Demonstrated professional experience as an HFC Technician, Coax Splicer, Broadband Technician, Network Maintenance Technician, or similar role. Specific experience with FDX upgrades, FDX-compatible equipment, or node/amplifier modernization is strongly preferred. Solid understanding of amplifier replacement, coaxial cable preparation, RF measurements, gain, pads, EQs, and signal balancing. Ability to explain technical work clearly and demonstrate a systematic approach to troubleshooting. Willingness to relocate to Detroit, Michigan, if not currently local. Available for immediate hiring and able to complete equipment-specific training before working independently.

Compensation & Opportunity Pay:

$22-$32 per hour, based on experience and technical qualifications.
