About the Position We are looking for motivated and reliable Telecommunications Fiber Cable Technicians to join our growing team. This is a fast-paced, hands-on position involving the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of fiber optic and telecommunications systems. The role requires someone who is comfortable working independently, solving problems in the field, and providing excellent customer service. Full training is provided. You will be provided with a company vehicle, gas card, PPE, tools, and all equipment required to perform the job. What You'll Do Install, maintain, and repair fiber optic and telecommunications cabling systems, including internet and Wi-Fi equipment. Perform testing and troubleshooting to identify and resolve network and connectivity issues. Complete installations and service calls efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality. Use various hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment. Follow company and customer procedures for installations, repairs, and documentation. Maintain accurate records of work completed, including installation and service reports. Communicate professionally with customers and address questions or concerns. Work safely and follow all applicable company and industry safety requirements. Work independently while also collaborating with other technicians and team members. Travel between customer locations and job sites as required. What We're Looking For Previous experience as a Cable Technician, Telecommunications Technician, Service Technician, or similar role is an asset. Experience with fiber optics, telecommunications or low-voltage systems is an asset. Comfortable working with hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Good attention to detail and the ability to complete work accurately. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change throughout the day. Good communication and customer service skills. Valid Class D driver's license is required. Ability to travel between job sites as required. No Experience? No Problem. Full training is provided.
