In this energetic role, you will be responsible for installing, testing, and troubleshooting low-voltage systems that power modern communication networks. Your expertise will ensure seamless connectivity for clients across various industries, contributing to their operational success. Duties Install structured cabling systems including Cat5, Cat6, fiber optic cables, and low-voltage wiring in commercial and industrial settings Set up and configure telecommunications equipment such as Cisco routers, VoIP systems, and Avaya communication platforms Perform fiber splicing and fiber optic systems installation to establish high-speed data transmission links Use diagnostic tools like ohmmeters, network testers, and telecommunications testing equipment to troubleshoot issues effectively Conduct network wiring and equipment termination following schematics and industry standards (NEC compliance) Test and verify system performance through Ethernet, RF testing, and LAN diagnostics to ensure optimal operation Provide exceptional customer service by explaining system functions, addressing client concerns, and ensuring satisfaction during installation and maintenance Experience Proven experience with low-voltage electrical systems installation including structured cabling, network wiring, and telecommunication systems Familiarity with computer networking concepts such as LAN setup, network installation, and cable termination techniques Hands-on knowledge of fiber splicing, fiber optic systems installation, and telecommunications testing equipment Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and specialized diagnostic devices safely and efficiently Understanding of AC/DC electrical systems relevant to low-voltage applications Experience working with network hardware including Cisco routers, switches, and telephony systems like Avaya or similar platforms Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients Join us if you're passionate about building reliable communication infrastructures!
