A Telecommunications Field Technician telecommunications Field Service Technician installs, repairs and maintains voice, data and video systems for a company's customers at the customer site. Prepares and documents a customer's network prior to implementing telecommunication system. Installs IP, network equipment and facilities. Acts as the first point of issue resolution, responds to field engineering issues and troubleshooting telecommunication problems. May train less experienced field technicians.

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and dependable Groundhand to join our dynamic team in the telecommunications industry. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your technical skills in outdoor environments, working with heavy equipment and telecommunications technology. Your energetic approach and commitment to safety will help ensure smooth project execution and high-quality service delivery. Duties Assist Lineman with running a bucket truck. Use diagnostic tools and telecommunications testing equipment to identify issues within fiber optic networks and troubleshoot technical problems effectively. Assist with fiber splicing and network troubleshooting as needed. Set up traffic control signs, cones and direct traffic as needed. Experience Prior outdoor work experience in telecommunications or construction environments is highly preferred. Demonstrated proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and cable management techniques. Ability to operate heavy equipment like bucket trucks safely while following all safety regulations. Must be able to work under all weather conditions. Must be able to stand, bend and lift over 25 lbs.
Pay:
$20.00 - $24.00 per hour
