A Telecommunications Field Technician telecommunications Field Service Technician installs, repairs and maintains voice, data and video systems for a company's customers at the customer site. Prepares and documents a customer's network prior to implementing telecommunication system. Installs IP, network equipment and facilities. Acts as the first point of issue resolution, responds to field engineering issues and troubleshooting telecommunication problems. May train less experienced field technicians.

Job Description
- Only qualified Smart Hands Field Technician candidates located near Bethpage, NY, to be considered due to the position requiring an on-site presence.
- Essentially, this person is a field service technician who will be part of the team of technicians who work at Network headends, Altice has about 60 headends in the New York Metropolitan Area. They will be assigned to various headends on a weekly schedule. The person needs to have worked in a similar role in one or more of the following environments:
- ISP•Telecommunications•Enterprise Data Centre•Colocation Facilities•Cable/MSO environmentJob primarily involves mounting Networking equipment such as routers, switches, etc.
