Job Description

Position Overview:
The HVAC Field Manager role will be reporting to the General Manager. This role will provide the necessary management of the in-home field technicians in the performance of their duties with Plumbing and HVAC repairs and installations. As needed this position will assist in the training, provide evaluation and feedback, discipline and motivation to achieve expected Key Performance Indicators.
Responsibilities:
Ensure business standards are achieved and maintained by all technicians in the repair and installation process. Spend 70% of time in field with technicians, educating and developing less skilled into adequately skilled employees, motivating skilled technicians, and enhancing customer service skills in all technicians. Ensuring adequate Technician field coverage for a seven-day, 365-day operation of service and installations. Monitor performance proactively by field visits, customer contact, report analysis, and reaction to feedback. Respond to all Customer complaints, compliments and inquires in a timely manner. Perform equipment replacement estimates on condemned equipment. Interview and hire new technicians as needed. Identify areas of needed improvement and work to correct those areas. Understand and follow union CBA where it applies. Interact with Field Training Manager for course needs and development. Payroll approval for all direct reports.
Job Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years management experience with serving and installations in the Plumbing and HVAC field. Effective Management of a unionized workforce consisting of 10-20 Field Technicians desirable Excellent writing and verbal communication skills Team player Field Oriented, in-depth knowledge of HVAC field and Management focus Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously on a regular basis. Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel proficient.
Starting Salary Range:
$90,000.00 - $138,768.71
Annual Bonus Potential:
10%
