Job Description
Community Broadband Networks (CBN) is a fast-growing Wireless Internet Service Provider (WISP) bringing affordable, high-speed internet to communities across Ithaca. We're building the infrastructure that connects people — and we need experienced leaders in the field to make it happen. Responsibilities Lead POP site and wireless infrastructure construction. Climb cell towers for repairs and installs Install and align wireless radios and related equipment. Perform basic civil construction (run conduit, concrete pads, trenching, grounding, utility coordination). Ensure projects meet safety, code, and engineering standards. Coordinate crews, subcontractors, and vendors to complete projects on time. Conduct site inspections and enforce OSHA safety compliance. Qualifications Certified Tower Climber (required). 2+ years of telecom or utility construction experience with leadership responsibilities. Hands-on experience installing and aligning wireless radios. Ability to read and interpret site plans, drawings, and engineering diagrams. Physically able to lift 75 lbs., climb towers/ladders, and work outdoors in all conditions. Strong communication and leadership skills.
