Our client is hiring an experienced Construction Technician III to join its field construction team in Quakertown, PA. You'll work hands-on with fiber and copper infrastructure, operate construction equipment, perform aerial and underground line work, and help keep crews productive and safe. Install and maintain fiber, copper cable, strand, conduit, handholes, manholes, and innerduct Perform aerial line work, including pole climbing, jigging/lashing strand, cable placement, and bucket truck operation Operate construction equipment including trenchers, vibratory plows, digger derricks, backhoes, and dump trucks Read construction prints, locate underground facilities, and assist with excavation, pole setting, and restoration Troubleshoot and repair telecommunications infrastructure in aerial and underground environments Complete required progress, safety, inspection, and closeout documentation Maintain safe, organized vehicles, equipment, and job sites Step into a crew-lead role and mentor less-experienced technicians when needed What We're Looking For 4+ years of telecom/fiber construction experience , including aerial and underground work Hands-on experience jigging/lashing strand, climbing utility poles, and reading construction prints Experience operating bucket trucks and telecom/construction equipment ; underground equipment experience is a plus CDL-A preferred ; must be eligible and willing to obtain one and maintain a DOT medical card Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, outdoors in all weather, and lifting 75+ lbs.
