Description Are you searching for an exciting full-time career opportunity that will enable you to use your technical and problem-solving skills, meet people, and work in collaboration with a professional team? As a Copier Service Technician, you will be responsible for installing, servicing, and maintaining printers and copiers to ensure customer satisfaction. Essential duties include performing corrective and preventative maintenance by diagnosing and solving mechanical and technical issues as well as staying up to date on training and certification for new products.
Duties:
Troubleshooting and diagnosing digital copier/printer/scanner/fax software and hardware issues. Explaining to the customer the work being done. Instructing the customer and demonstrating functionality to the end user. Recording meter readings, maintaining service activity reports, and monitoring supplies. Utilizing website resources, technical manuals, and technical publications to keep current with new equipment and enhancements to older equipment. Travel and training from manufacturer will be required.
Skills and Qualifications:
High School Diploma, technical/career training is preferred Strong aptitude for mechanical and electronic products Canon and OCE Copier/Printer experience is preferred Must pass an industry specific aptitude test High level of professionalism including strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively Reliable vehicle Ability to travel throughout assigned work area Valid driver's license Ability to transport various tools and service parts and supplies Ability to lift 75 lbs.
