Job Overview We are seeking energetic and detail-oriented Cable & Wi-Fi Field Technicians to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting telecommunications infrastructure in residential and commercial settings. Your expertise will ensure our customers receive reliable internet, cable, and Wi-Fi services, enhancing their connectivity experience. This position offers the opportunity to work outdoors, utilize a variety of hand and power tools, and develop your skills in network installation and service technician functions. Duties Install and troubleshoot residential and commercial telecommunications networks, including Ethernet, fiber optic cables, and low voltage wiring Set up and align satellite dishes, Wi-Fi routers, Cisco routers, and other networking equipment to ensure optimal performance Use hand tools such as wire crimpers, wire strippers, cable cutters, and power tools for cable routing and equipment mounting Perform fiber splicing and testing using equipment like voltmeters, ohmmeters, and equipment testers to verify signal integrity Operate company vehicles safely while transporting tools, equipment, and materials to job sites Conduct outdoor work including ladder use for high installations and outdoor cabling in various weather conditions Document all work performed accurately in service reports and update customer records as needed Qualifications Proven experience working as a telecommunications infrastructure technician or field service technician with a focus on network installation Knowledge of computer networking concepts such as Ethernet wiring, telephony systems, and Cisco routers Skilled in the use of hand tools (wire strippers, crimpers), power tools, and electrical work related to low voltage systems Experience with fiber splicing, telecommunications network cable installation, and equipment testing techniques Ability to operate a company vehicle safely and responsibly in diverse outdoor environments Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients Physical ability to perform outdoor work requiring ladder use and handling heavy equipment or materials Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; relevant certifications are a plus Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering top-tier telecommunications solutions!
