Seeking a Field Service Technician to provide hands-on IT installation, troubleshooting, and support at construction job sites. The role involves setting up mobile offices with workstations, networking equipment, printers, cameras, phone systems, and internet connectivity.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, monitors, printers, phones, and peripherals. Set up routers, switches, Wi-Fi, Ethernet, and other network equipment. Deploy cellular/mobile internet, hotspots, modems, antennas, and satellite internet solutions. Install and terminate copper/fiber cabling as needed. Provide on-site and remote technical support and troubleshoot connectivity issues. Support cameras, access systems, Windows applications, and MFA/2FA. Document installations, configurations, and service activities. Travel frequently to construction job sites, including overnight travel.
Requirements:
3+ years of hands-on IT support, desktop support, technical support, systems administration, or field service experience. Strong workstation setup and troubleshooting experience. Hands-on experience with routers, switches, Wi-Fi, Ethernet, and internet connectivity. Experience with cellular or satellite internet solutions or Starlink experience is highly preferred. Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and clean driving record for the past 5 years. Comfortable with frequent regional/nationwide travel and working at construction sites. Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. and work in varying outdoor/jobsite conditions.
