A Telecommunications Field Technician telecommunications Field Service Technician installs, repairs and maintains voice, data and video systems for a company's customers at the customer site. Prepares and documents a customer's network prior to implementing telecommunication system. Installs IP, network equipment and facilities. Acts as the first point of issue resolution, responds to field engineering issues and troubleshooting telecommunication problems. May train less experienced field technicians.

Knowledge of:
Telecommunications infrastructure VoIP technologies Cabling standards and power validation Networked voice systems Strong troubleshooting and root-cause diagnostic skills Experience using test equipment and diagnostic tools in field environments Familiarity with operational environments where uptime and reliability are critical Professional Skills Excellent technical problem-solving ability Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to work independently in remote field locations Strong documentation and reporting discipline High attention to detail and adherence to procedures Effective time management and ability to meet deployment timelines Team-oriented mindset with ability to collaborate across technical disciplines Work Environment Field-based role supporting operational and technical sites Extensive travel (up to 95% ) Work may occur in active operational environments requiring strict adherence to procedures and standards This role is ideal for a senior technician who thrives in high-visibility cutover environments and enjoys being the person who ensures mission-critical voice systems come online smoothly and correctly the first time.Details Target Salary Range:
$80,000 - $128,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.Benefits Statement:
