Position Overview EC Wireless is seeking a junior or entry-level DAS Technician to provide installation support for DAS and DRAN deployment projects. This is a field-based position requiring travel and technical support for DAS equipment installation, cable installation, testing, commissioning support, and troubleshooting. The successful candidate will spend time traveling & working on project sites tasks including pulling and routing cable, installing wireless infrastructure, performing system testing, troubleshooting issues, and supporting commissioning activities while. This role is ideal for a junior DAS technician, field technician, or installer who enjoys hands-on technical work, readiness to learn about technical methodologies while expanding their knowledgebase. Role Responsibilities Hands-On

DAS & DRAN

Field Work (Primary Responsibility) Perform hands-on DAS and DRAN installation activities at customer deployment sites. Pull, route, secure, terminate, and troubleshoot coaxial and fiber cabling. Install antennas, remote units, head-end equipment, racks, mounts, and related wireless infrastructure. Perform cable labeling, documentation, and quality verification. Assist with network integration and system turn-up activities. Perform system testing activities, including: PIM testing Sweep testing Fiber testing Collaborate with team members to successfully complete projects. Maintain positive attitude towards task assignments and learning opportunities. Apply learned skillsets to successful completion of project tasks. Follow OSHA guidelines, job site safety requirements, and applicable building codes. Follow instructions from company supervisors. Required Qualifications 0-2 years of hands-on DAS, DRAN, wireless infrastructure, or telecommunications installation experience. Experience as a junior or entry level DAS Technician, Field Technician, or similar technical role. Minor experience installing and troubleshooting DAS infrastructure, including: Coax cable Fiber optic cable Antennas Remote units Head-end equipment RF components Ability and willingness to perform hands-on installation work daily. Strong communication skills. Ability to work independently in changing field environments. Ability to following instructions and work in a cohesive work environment Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Visa sponsorship is not available. Washington, D.C. metro area preferred; candidates within reasonable driving distance may be considered. Ability to travel up to 75% nationwide. Willingness to support extended hours and occasional weekend work/travel during active deployment phases (comp time provided). Preferred Qualifications Willingness to learn about neutral host DAS and Carrier DRAN deployments. Willingness to gain experience with DAS platforms such as CommScope/Andrew, SOLiD, JMA, Corning, etc. Willingness to support carrier deployments including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, or Public Safety systems. Obtain OSHA-10 certification.

$55,000-$65,000 annually This position begins as a 6-month Contract-to-Hire opportunity with the goal of transitioning the right candidate into a long-term employment role with EC Wireless. Successful candidates who transition to full-time W2 employment will have the opportunity for a compensation review and expanded responsibilities.
