A Telecommunications Field Technician telecommunications Field Service Technician installs, repairs and maintains voice, data and video systems for a company's customers at the customer site. Prepares and documents a customer's network prior to implementing telecommunication system. Installs IP, network equipment and facilities. Acts as the first point of issue resolution, responds to field engineering issues and troubleshooting telecommunication problems. May train less experienced field technicians.

Position Summary Supports IT Field Operations by providing Work Methods, Technical Support, Quality Control, Human Error Analysis & Investigation, and Training. Develops, designs, and maintains guidance documents that support Telecommunications field work. PG&E is providing the full salary/pay range for this position. The actual amount paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, internal equity, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, and geographic location. The range to reasonably expect will be around the minimum and the midpoint$122,000 - $158,000. Thefinal decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to the factors above.This job is also eligible to participate in PG&E's discretionary incentive compensation programs.
