Full Job Description Overview:
Insight Global is seeking a Telecommunications Engineer to support and maintain enterprise voice and communications infrastructure across the organization of a healthcare client. This individual will be responsible for configuring, troubleshooting, and optimizing telecom systems with a strong emphasis on Avaya Aura, AudioCodes Session Border Controllers (SBCs), and NetSapiens platforms. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting VoIP environments, SIP trunking, telecom migrations, and voice infrastructure in a large enterprise setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer and support the organization's Avaya Aura environment Manage and troubleshoot AudioCodes SBC infrastructure Support NetSapiens voice platform and telecom services Diagnose call quality, connectivity, and routing issues Configure voice systems, SIP trunks, and telecom circuits Respond to telecom incidents and provide technical support to end users Assist with telecom upgrades, deployments, and infrastructure improvements Work closely with networking and infrastructure teams to ensure reliable voice services
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED. 3+ years experience supporting and troubleshooting telecommunications infrastructure, including voice/data circuits, network routing and switching, and end-user technical support. Hands-on experience configuring, installing, and maintaining telecommunications systems such as Nortel, Vocera, and ShoreTel. Experience with Avaya Aura admin and support, supporting AudioCodes SBCs, and NetSapiens platform admin. Understanding of VoIP, SIP, SIP trunking, and call routing. Agreeance to the required health screenings
Preferred Qualifications:
Healthcare experience Experience with Genesys Cloud CX Relevant IT certifications
Pay:
$37.00 - $41.00 per hour
