Overview The Field Technician is responsible for supporting and overseeing field construction activities at oil and gas locations while assisting with hands-on installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting as needed. This position requires someone who is self-motivated, safety-conscious, and capable of balancing project oversight with physical field work. Responsibilities Oversee multiple construction projects in the field to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to schedule. Perform hands-on construction, installation, maintenance, and repair work as required. Coordinate with supervisors, contractors, and field personnel to support project execution. Monitor job progress and identify potential issues before they impact project timelines. Operate equipment and tools safely and effectively. Troubleshoot field issues and implement practical solutions with minimal supervision. Ensure compliance with company safety policies and industry regulations. Complete daily reports and maintain accurate project documentation. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Travel to various job sites as required. Qualifications Minimum of 1 year of construction oilfield experience required. Experience operating heavy equipment or construction equipment. Experience reading construction drawings, blueprints, or work plans. Electrical experience or electrical troubleshooting knowledge highly preferred. Ability to perform physically demanding work in outdoor environments and varying weather conditions. Ability to oversee multiple projects while maintaining attention to detail. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work extended hours when needed. Must meet conditional job offer requirements.
