What they do
A Telecommunications Field Technician telecommunications Field Service Technician installs, repairs and maintains voice, data and video systems for a company's customers at the customer site. Prepares and documents a customer's network prior to implementing telecommunication system. Installs IP, network equipment and facilities. Acts as the first point of issue resolution, responds to field engineering issues and troubleshooting telecommunication problems. May train less experienced field technicians.

- Responsibilities
- + Uses engineering knowledge and methods to design, install, support, and repair technological tools and equipment at a field location (in the field, at a remote office, or at a client site).
- Qualifications
- + DoD Secret Clearance is required (or ability to obtain and maintain one) + High School or GED equivalent.
Desired Qualifications:
- + Experience operating heavy-duty equipment like boom and scissor lifts, cranes, excavators used to install / repair GV, LMR, and AVNS.
