Overview Seeking an experienced Lead DAS Technician to support Distributed Antenna System (DAS), public safety, fiber, coax, and low-voltage installations across new construction and existing facilities, including campuses, hospitals, schools, stadiums, and other commercial environments. Projects span Illinois, Wisconsin, and Indiana, with occasional travel to other markets and overnight stays during the work week. This role is responsible for advanced DAS installations, troubleshooting, testing, and field leadership within a small team environment. The technician will lead work activities, coordinate with contractors, and support project delivery across a variety of wireless infrastructure deployments. Key Responsibilities Lead DAS installation projects in commercial, healthcare, education, transportation, public safety, and large venue environments. Install, terminate, test, troubleshoot, and maintain DAS infrastructure, including fiber optic and coaxial cabling systems. Perform system testing and validation using tools such as JDSU, Anritsu, PIM testing, sweep testing, and fiber testing equipment. Support ODAS and IDAS deployments, wireless access point installations, and related low-voltage telecommunications systems. Interpret project documentation and execute installation activities according to project requirements. Provide field leadership, oversee quality of work, coordinate with vendors and contractors, and support small installation teams. Troubleshoot RF and DAS system issues and implement effective solutions in the field. Interface directly with customers, project stakeholders, and other trades on job sites. Required Qualifications 3+ years of experience in DAS, RF, cellular, wireless access point, or related low-voltage telecommunications environments. Strong hands-on DAS installation and troubleshooting experience. 2+ years of leadership experience, including project coordination, quality control, vendor management, reporting, or team oversight. Experience with testing and troubleshooting DAS systems using industry-standard equipment. Ability to work independently, solve complex technical problems, and lead field activities. Preferred Experience Experience with one or more of the following platforms and technologies:

Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Richmond, VA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $33.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
