Job Summary We are looking for a dependable, mechanically inclined individual to join our team as a Boat Lift Installation Technician . Previous boat lift experience is not required . We are willing to train the right person. However, candidates should have good mechanical aptitude and preferably some hands-on experience in construction, equipment installation, maintenance, repair, or a similar trade. This position involves installing, servicing, and repairing boat lifts at residential and commercial waterfront properties throughout Baldwin County. Duties Assist with installation, service, and repair of boat lifts Assemble and install motors, cables, pulleys, brackets, bunks, cradles, and other lift components Troubleshoot mechanical issues and assist with repairs Work from barges, docks, piers, and boathouses Safely use hand tools, power tools, and equipment Load, unload, and organize materials and equipment Maintain a clean and safe work environment Qualifications Mechanical aptitude and ability to learn how equipment operates Construction, mechanical, equipment repair, or similar hands-on experience preferred Experience working with motors, controls, or basic electrical components is a plus Must be comfortable working over and around water Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions Able to perform physically demanding work, including lifting and carrying materials Dependable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a crew Ability to follow instructions and maintain safe work practices Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Boat lift experience is a plus, but not required We are looking for someone who is willing to learn, takes pride in their work, and wants to become a long-term member of our team
Pay:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
