Role:

E-Scooter shop in Anaheim, CA is looking for a passionate and skilled Scooter Mechanic and Sales Associate to join our growing team! This is a fantastic opportunity to turn your love of electric scooters into a rewarding career where you'll help customers find their perfect ride while keeping machines running at peak performance. We are looking for Mechanics to assemble, service and repair e-scooters. Ideal candidate will have skills in both sales and services for e-scooters.

Responsibilities:

Diagnose, repair, and perform routine maintenance on electric scooters. Assist customers on the sales floor by recommending scooters and accessories based on their needs Perform pre-delivery inspections and quality checks on new inventory Handle warranty repairs and communicate repair status updates to customers Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workshop environment Process sales transactions and assist with inventory management Stay up to date on the latest electric scooter models, parts, and technology Maintain and abide by safety and hygiene standards within the store Safely operate power tools, pallet jack or pushcart on a frequent basis Additional job-related tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

Prior experience as a mechanic working on scooters, e-bikes, motorcycles, or similar small engine/electric vehicles Basic understanding of electrical systems, batteries, and motor components Strong customer service and sales communication skills Ability to use diagnostic tools and hand/power tools proficiently Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus but not required Must be reliable, punctual, and a team player Ability to lift up to 65lbs / 35 kg required. Knowledge of using work order system and point of sales preferred. Ability to work various shifts including evenings and weekends. Experience safely operating a pallet jack or push cart. Strong critical thinking skills, with the ability to perform quick and efficient repairs Self-motivated with and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage daily tasks. A safety-oriented mindset, capable of conducting quality checks. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work well within a team.
